FID Series Presentations - Videos

Faculty and former residents have contributed to the FID Series presentations addressing issues of culture and humanities in medical education or clinical settings.

There are FID Series videos on these topics, which you may access using the menu at left.   • Cross cultural health care case studies - This interactive learning module is the collaborative effort of Pediatric Pulmonary Centers, including one at The University of Arizona. The course aims "to familiarize the learner with the many issues that may arise while working in a pediatric setting with people from different cultures." It addresses issues such as health disparities, religious concerns, rural health care, interpreter services, and emotional issues. [Information about the course developers]
