Description
This TWT Workshop will introduce faculty to the various uses for iBooks in teaching and assessing students, and how to create a multi-touch (interactive) book as a learning module for flipping the classroom or other uses.
During the workshop faculty will start creating interactive materials with iBooks Author.
By the end of the workshop faculty will know and be able to do the following learn how to:
- Insert "widgets" using iBooks Author, including audio and video files, Keynote presentations, image galleries and review questions
- Create additional "widgets" using Bookry.com
- Hyperlink text to web-based resources
- Manage table of contents
- Generate flashcards by creating a glossary and glossary terms
- Modify templates

Apple's iBooks Author requires a Mac laptop. Please bring your Mac laptop to the workshop. Thank you!
