The ACE Program emphasizes the mutuality of teaching and learning and the role of reflection in teaching, learning and professional practice The program encourages participants to explore the connection between respectful, professional teacher-learner relations and effective learning. ACE Program goals are:
1. Provide support for affiliate clinical faculty in teaching and assessing medical students.
2. Enhance teaching practices of affiliate faculty.
3. Enhance the learning experience for medical students in clinical years 3 and 4.
4. Improve instructional development methods based on feedback from affiliate faculty who participate in the ACE Program.
