Adobe Pro & DC

Purpose

Create & Edit documents and forms; Convert documents; create Portfolios

Adobe DC

The types of functions available in Adobe DC are the same as Adobe Pro, although it adds a document comparison tool that generates a report.

The "look and feel" and organization of Adobe DC is different - read, better. Below is an example of how functions are organized. For example, Adobe DC organizes tools by function.

Adobe Pro

Edit Functions are not as easy to find or use. For example, the Touch-up text editing tool of Adobe Pro often garbled the paragraph formatting of documents.  The "Typewriter" function did not have the same smooth control of font type, color, and size.

The most recent professional version of Adobe is Adobe DC. There is an SOS guide below. Since many UA CoM staff have Adobe Pro, there are guides here as well for Adobe Pro IX and XII.
